White Lies
So many people tell white lies
The ones where they claim they’re making $100K a month when they’re really making $10K.
Or say they “own property” when they’re renting.
Or flex numbers they know nobody can verify.
How often are people actually going to press you for proof?
Almost never.
And even if they do?
You can just ignore them.
Block.
And then move on.
Most people won’t question you.
They’ll just assume you’re telling the truth.
So the internet’s full of people inflating their success because there’s no real consequence.
Everyone’s in a race to look more successful than they are.
Faking it until they make it.
Except most of them never make it they just get better at faking.
Eventually, it catches up.
Maybe not today.
Maybe not this year.
But it does.
As my mom would say “Cut your cloth according to your size”
The truth might not get as many likes.
But at least it’s yours.
