Stuck In A Hotel
My building lost power on Wednesday.
Full blackout.
No idea when it’s coming back.
Now I’m sitting in a hotel room realising how unprepared we all were for this.
But the thing is…
You can’t predict everything.
But you can prepare for most things.
Emergency fund.
Multiple income streams.
The people who survive aren’t the ones who never face problems.
They’re the ones who built systems so the problems don’t destroy them.
I say this to say…
Don’t wait for the blackout to realize you should’ve had a flashlight.
Build safety nets.
Because shit happens.
And when it does, you’ll be glad you were ready.
