Feed the Beast or Watch It Die
Everything in life has a beast.
And that beast needs to be fed every single day.
Your business. Your health. Your relationships. Your skills.
Whatever it is, if you don’t feed it, the beast gets hungry.
And if the beast stays hungry for too long? It dies. I’m on beast three now.
I have let the beast die one too many times.
Rebuilding my fitness after days, weeks, months off.
Rebuilding momentum in my business.
Rebuilding broken relationships I neglected.
It takes ten times the effort to restart than it does to just maintain.
Most people don’t realise this until it’s too late.
They skip a day. Then a week. Then a month.
And by the time they try to come back, the beast is dead.
And now they’re starting over.
The things that survive aren’t the ones you’re naturally good at.
They’re the ones you show up for every single day.
So what do you do now?
Figure out what your beasts need.
Then feed them. Every day. No excuses.
Because if you let it starve, it’ll die.
And starting again is way harder than just not stopping.
